Help Wanted: Handyman Needed. The HOA is responsible for maintaining the exterior of the buildings and the commons areas. Because this is a fairly large complex we have a regular need for simple repairs and maintenance. We are looking for an on-site maintenance person, who would be in addition to a skilled contractor we have, who is able to do general maintenance and repairs. The following skills are desired but not required: construction, electrical, drywall, stucco, general repairs, and general maintenance. Must be honest, have integrity, be responsive, dependable, able to communicate effectively, work with the board prior to performing the work, do quality / professional work, and work quickly / efficiently. This individual will be responsible for identifying preventative maintenance items, documenting the issues, working with contractors, and obtaining bids for projects that are outside of his/her skill set.
